Among Vietnamese refugees in the US and in manay other countries in the world, the week of April 30 is referred to as Black April and is used as a time of commenoration of the Fall of Sai Gon. This annual event was held at the Vietnamese community center on April 26th 2014 with the attendance of many Vietnamese-American Veterans and Vietnamese refugees. Light meals and refreshment were being served.
